Lacrosse game

I went to the Lacrosse game yesterday, it was a very good game. The team they played was zero and ten, and MSJ was down most of the game until the 4th quarter. The other team pulled away by three goals and it did not look to good for the MSJ Lions. MSJ would score then the other team would score, but finally the MSJ lions pulled ahead by two to win the game! The whole time that game was going on it looked like it was about to rain but it did not. I am a big fan of indoor sports because you do not have to worry about the weather, but it is always nice to have a game outside if there is nice weather.

Lastnight I was watching the bulls play the Celtics, the game was crazy. It went into three over times ans the most overtimes in a playoff game has been four, but that has not happened for a while. The Bulls had to win this game because the Celtics had three wins and the Bulls had two, so if the Bulls lost it would have been over for them. The game was very physical and it was a well played game, there were lots of foul outs. The game kept me on the edge of my feet, I like a good game because games where one team is blowing another team out is not very fun to watch. I think it was worth watching this game because there were three overtimes.

Swine Flu

I received a call Sunday from my mother warning me that there was something called the swine flue going around. She explained to me that is was deadly but they are finding a cure for it. She went on to tell me there was a break out in Ohio, a 7 year old boy got it. The next day I received an email about it saying the symptoms of it and how to protect yourself from it. It was on the news and they were in Mexico where it came from and everyone had masks on, there has already been many deaths from it. There was another break out found in Orlando Florida. These high populated places need to be careful or it will just keep spreading. This is a serious issue and everyone needs to be educated by it because it is deadly

Dwight Howard

I was watching the Orlando Magic vs. the 76ers game. At the end of the game Dwight Howard decides to throw an elbow hitting Samuel Dalembert. Howard's elbow hit Dalembert's head, since he was able to play the rest of the game and did not get ejected they are suspending him for game six. Howard went on to have 24 points and 24 rebounds which is the most he has ever had. From the blow Dalembert got a fractured sinus. Howard explain's later that he was not trying to hurt anyone and it was on accident, but by looking over the tape they came to the conclusion that is was on purpose. He goes on to say that he has faith in his team and knows they will come out ontop.

This weekend has been going good. I had a lot of fun with my mom yesterday the movie was great then we went to Fridays afterwards. I got some desert and accidentally knocked over the glass and it shattered :( but then we got our meal for free haha. Today was fun too we went to Newport and ate at Brio, it was really good. Now I am waiting on David to get back from track and go to his apt. I am so excited for my birthday it is coming up very soon. Eleven more days till I'm the big 21!!

So its the weekend and I am just hanging out in my room till my class at 1, then my mom comes :). We are going to go see Obsessed tonight it looks like a really good movie. I just ate a chicken sandwich and it was really yummy. I was just recently thinking about what I would like to do with my life after college. I would really like to become an athletic director and a high school girl's basketball coach. I really miss highschool basketball and how much fun it was. I really think I would be a grat coach because I know what I am talkeng about when it comes to basketball.

the weekend

I am so excited for the weekend, my mom gets to come and spend some of the weekend with me. Hopefully we get to go to the mall or Newport. I am also excited because it is almost my birthday and school is almost over. I just found out yesterday that I received the job I interviewed for! It is a camp counseling job, and I will get to go on field trips with them. I had a comp counseling job somewhere else last summer and it was a lot of fun. It is also suposto be really nice this weekend, on fri. it is suposto be 83! The weather here is crazy!

Easter

So, it has been a while since I have written a blog so I suppose it is time to write. I was able to go home for easter break, it was such a nice little break. David came home with me and spend the night thursday night but then left around 8:30 in the morning to fly home from the Dayton airport. Spending time with my family was a lot of fun. Some of the things I did when I was home was go see Monsters v.s. Aliens with my mom, went to the mall with some friends, and went out to dinner a lot. There is only less than 4 weeks of school left, including exam week. My birthday is comming up on May 6th I am looking forward to that I will be the big 21! even though my birthday is during exam week and I have my Bio exam on my birthday. This week is a short week sonce we didnt have school Monday due to easter, I am so ready for the weekend :).

Virgin Islands

The collage I have made is a group of pictures that I have taken throughout my life. Some are from the Virgin Islands, One is with my dad, with my boyfriend, getting my tattoo, one of my dog's, in my basketball uniform, and with a friend. There pictures show some great times in my life. The few pictures of me in the Virgin Islands was with a basketball trip, it was not my favoriate trip I have taken because we really didn't have much time to be on the beach, but it was fun because I was able to share it with my friends. The picture of my dog was when I was giving her a bath. She was all went and looked so cute. The picture of my dad and I was taken at Christmas in 2008. It was taken at my cousins house when we had our Tahy family Christmas. The rest were just taken at random times that were fun.

Princess

Over the summer I entered a contest call Holiday at Home. I had to do an interview with judges, then there was a pageant. There were 30 girls 4 received princess and one received queen. I received princess and I was so happy about it. During the summer there were many activities that all of us girls got to do. We had a dinner, went to a baseball game, had a ball that is when we got crowned, and many other things. It was truly a great experience. I was able to meet new people and gain many new friends.

Basketball

I have played basketball all my life, but decided to stop playing my soph year of college. I started out playing CYO basketball and I was always the tallest one. I had so much fun learing the ins and outs of basketball. I then moved on to AAU basketball that is a traveling team that is select. I played for many AAU teams. In the pic is one of the AAU teams that I played for when I was about 10. I then moved to a team called the Dayton Lady Hoopstars and played for them until I was 17. I went to high school basketball after that and played for CJ 2 years an my first year we were state runner ups then my second year we won state. I then Went to Alter and finished out there. I went to college for basketball at MSJ then decided not to play.

Mid semester holiday

For my mid semester holiday I went home. I was able to go home after my class on Thursday. Since I had the car I drove myself home, it was pretty nice. On Thursday I got home around 5. I ate dinner then took a nap and just hung out with my family. Friday I woke up at 12:00 had breakfast then got ready for work, I had work 3-8. After work I went to go see a movie with some friends, it was a fun time. Saturday I woke up around 11:00 got some breakfast then got ready for work again from 3-8. After work I just relaxed with my family because I had to get up early today, Sunday. I got up around 8:30 got ready then my mom, me and my dad went to Bob Evans to have some breakfast then my dad took me back to school. I had to work the Lacrosse game at 1:00. So overall my weekend was good it did not even feel like I was home though because I was very rarely at home.

<3 Valentines Day <3

I had the best valentines day ever. Valentines day was Saturday and I spend the whole day at David's apt. We went to the grocery store to get things to make breakfast. We got beagles, eggs, cheese, and cream cheese. We made yummy beagles sandwiches for breakfast. Then we laid around and watched t.v. then decided to go to the boys basketball game. After that I stayed at school and he went back to his apt to make my valentines day dinner. I got ready then stopped at the store to get some drinks and a cookie cake. When I got there he had fixed steak, potatoes, and corn, it was sooo yummy. After eating he told me to go to the closet to get something out, I opened the closet and there were a dozen roses :). After that we hung out for a while then went out and had a fun time.

Home

Last weekend I was able to go home for the first time in a month. I was sooo excited to be able to go home. When I got home Friday my mom had ordered a pizza so we ate then went to a movie. We saw He's Just Not That Into You. It was a great movie. We then went to the Cheesecake Factory and I got a banana cheesecake and it was soo good. Then Sat. my mom and I went to the mall then later that night went to my grandmas because it was her birthday the next day, we gave her a cake and a present. Then on Sunday my family and I had to go to my cousins conformation. We had brunch at 10 a.m. then headed to the church. After that my mom and I went to Walmart to get some last min. things for me. She also let me drive her car back to school so I could get a taste of what it would be like to have a car on campus. She is letting me have it for a week and a half since we get off next Fri. I will be able to come home Thursday! I am soo excited to have a car here for a little bit!

The weekend

The weekend is comming up, I am so ready for it. Tonight hopefully I am going out with David. Then Sat David is gone all day with track then when he gets back hopefully we will go out. Sunday will just be a day to relax for me and catch up on sleep. Last weekend on sunday I went to the Lil Wayne concert, it was soo much fun the concert was great!

College

I am on my second week back from break. My classes are going well, I was ready to come back. It was so nice to see my friends, and have some fun on the weekend with them. I really like all my teachers, and the people that are in my classes. It has now been many weeks since I have been back. I am having some trouble with biology, it is not an easy class. College for me is soo much better than high school. There is so much more freedom since I am away from my parents. My college is just far enough away from home but just close enough for me to get back if I need to.

My name is Sarah Jessica Tahy, the daughter of Steve and Connie Tahy. I am 20 years old my birthday I was born on May 6th 1988. I have a brother named Christopher and two dogs Lacy and Bell. I am from a small town called Oakwood I moved there when I was about 5, till I was 5 I lived in Dayton right next to oakwood. I have played basketball all my life but decided to stop my soph year of college. I have been to many different high schools, Incarnation, Smith school, Oakwood High school, C.J., Alter, and now I am finishing out college as Mt. St. Joseph. My family is so much fun I love them they are everything to me. I have the most amazing friends and I love them very much. I am working at Abercrombie and Fitch and I love the job because I get a discount. I am taken by the most amazing boy ever :). My life has pretty much been great except for being diagnosed with dyslexia and having 2 eyes surgeries. I have had to wear glasses since I was 18 months I now just wear contacts but have a pair of glasses too.
